LabCom.IFP researchers at the AIM meeting
The VI Annual meeting of the Association of Moving Image (AIM) took place between 4thand 7th May at the Catholic University of Portugal in Oporto. This edition was co-hosted by AIM and CITAR - Research Center for Arts Science and Technology, of the Arts School.
The following communications were presented by LabCom.IFP researchers:
-"The whole outfit or looking for Alberto: analysis proposal of Inês de Medeiros’ fictional documentary", by Ana Catarina Pereira;
-"Interactive film: technological exhibitionism or narrative genre", by Francisco Merino;
-"The aesthetics of legitimation: the use of amateur videos in journalistic coverage", by Ivan Satuf;
-"Classics in a few minutes: the passion for cinema in the videoclip", by Luis Nogueira;
-"Film praxis as theory. The theory of cinema from the films ", by Manuela Penafria, a work done with Henrique Vilão e Tiago Ramiro, students in the master's degree in Cinema at the University of Beira Interior (UBI).
Two other UBI master’s students also participated in the event, with the following presentations:
- “The Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual and the canon (s) of the Portuguese cinema”, by Claudia Moreira;
- “Portugal, the Rose and Queer cinema”, by Alfredo Taunay.
