De facto s\u00e3o frequentes as an\u00e1lises das express\u00f5es gr\u00e1ficas de um modo isolado, mas n\u00e3o das rela\u00e7\u00f5es sist\u00e9micas entre os contextos temporais, econ\u00f3micos, pol\u00edticos e t\u00e9cnicos de cada \u00e9poca, que organizam e condicionam as formas de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o gr\u00e1fica.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Neste contexto deu-se in\u00edcio \u00e0 problematiza\u00e7\u00e3o, de modo a alargar horizontes e a produzir respostas a quest\u00f5es que tamb\u00e9m a n\u00f3s dizem respeito.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">De um modo geral, esta pesquisa desenvolve considera\u00e7\u00f5es relativamente \u00e0s interven\u00e7\u00f5es efectuadas pelos programas de identidade visual na efectiva\u00e7\u00e3o de imagens institucionais consistentes, actualizadas e que correspondam \u00e0 realidade das c\u00e2maras municipais. Assim, tentar-se-\u00e1 comprovar a efic\u00e1cia do design na gest\u00e3o de sistemas de identidade visual institucional e na implementa\u00e7\u00e3o da imagem das autarquias, na perspectiva de demonstrar que os signos identificadores gr\u00e1ficos (bras\u00f5es, logotipos, s\u00edmbolos e marcas) e subsequentes sistemas de identidade visual s\u00e3o elementos fundamentais na organiza\u00e7\u00e3o, desenvolvimento, competitividade e inova\u00e7\u00e3o dos munic\u00edpios portugueses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Esta simbologia constitui-se actualmente como fonte privilegiada de informa\u00e7\u00e3o acerca das caracter\u00edsticas de um concelho. Por um lado, a her\u00e1ldica aut\u00e1rquica como sistema de identifica\u00e7\u00e3o ordenado e estruturado, com regulamentos muito precisos, tem sofrido, na sua evolu\u00e7\u00e3o, algumas adultera\u00e7\u00f5es.
