A influ\u00eancia das mensagens e das agendas medi\u00e1ticas sobre o p\u00fablico \u00e9 um dos temas que atravessou a hist\u00f3ria das Ci\u00eancias da Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o at\u00e9 aos nossos dias, desde as abordagens mais pavlovianas aos modelos mais elaborados e complexos das vers\u00f5es atuais dos estudos sobre o agendamento.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ao assinalar, com a presente edi\u00e7\u00e3o, meio s\u00e9culo de estudos de agendamento, pretende-se sublinhar a persist\u00eancia e a atualidade de uma das teorias mais marcantes da hist\u00f3ria das ci\u00eancias da comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, que tem procurado analisar a import\u00e2ncia dos\u00a0digital media<\/i>\u00a0e do jornalismo no processo complexo de forma\u00e7\u00e3o da opini\u00e3o p\u00fablica.<\/div>\n

Como salienta McCombs, no cap\u00edtulo original que apresenta nesta obra, os livros sobre o agenda-setting ser\u00e3o sempre uma vers\u00e3o suavizada da teoria, n\u00e3o conseguindo revelar na sua totalidade a for\u00e7a do seu m\u00e9todo cient\u00edfico.
